Barry Manilow's
Audition Information:
The Jedlicka Performing Arts Center will host auditions for Barry Manilow’s, "COPACABANA” on Tuesday and Wednesday evenings, May 27 and 28. The Production calls for the casting of 3 men and 3 women and a large dancing and singing ensemble. Auditions will begin at 7:30p.m. All persons auditioning should prepare sixteen bars of both an upbeat and a ballad which best demonstrate their vocal ability. An accompanist will be provided. They should also be dressed for movement for a short dance combination which will be taught by the choreographer. Some pay available.
The auditions are OPEN TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC and specific audition times can be reserved by calling 708/656-1800. Performances will be presented on Friday and Saturday evenings and Sunday afternoons from August 1 through August 16. Anyone interested in working on the technical aspects of the production or playing in the orchestra should also contact the theatre office at 708/656-1800. Auditions will be held at the Jedlicka Performing Arts Center, 3801 S. Central Avenue, Cicero.
